Storylines from the Backrooms

The Backrooms Expanded

The First Branch to the Uranium Timeline occurs at the very start of the backrooms teleportation, where Neutrilon ends up heading towards the second cluster (1001-2000 dreams). It is split into 4 major parts: the Introspection Arcs, Corrupted Dreams Arcs, Brickbattler, and The Employee Dominion Arc. The Backrooms expanded mostly explored dreams outside the first cluster, and the distortion of the unconscious as one gets further from the light (dream 1).  In Rearranging Order, Neutrilon dies, ending in another universe's unconscious plane. And upon his death in Brickbattler, he returns to the first cluster in The Nexus.

Lore-Master

Introspection

The expanse of the unconscious mind bears no bounds; it exceeds all limits of reality, and there the dust flows like sands of time. It's taunting, it's haunting, it shows all your flaws, and grants you a choice to keep it all or lose it all. There's a valor in keeping your flaws, but you can always be swallowed up by the waves, washed away, scattered, and born anew. The choice is yours.

MAIN CHARACTERS:

- Irythia (MEG employee)

- Kang the Conqueror

Employee Dominion:
Staff 8; the last piece to the puzzle of escaping the backrooms (formally named 'Daybreak')

Amnesia plagues the person to their core, blinding them from their past self. So what does it mean to face yourself when you don't even know who you really are? It's a true overture to realize that one's whole self-values and self-perception are completely false. It's a pain that the past is fatefully outrageous, however, there is still the present to make up for the future.

MAIN CHARACTERS:

- Pennatoh

- River (Traveler, Wanderer)

- Metastability (Alternate Pennatoh)

- The Pantheons (Higher Power)

- Kojol

- Avokus

Dilapidated Ebullition:
The Coalescence; the event that tore the Backrooms into the mortal plane.

The Second Branch to the Uranium Timeline also occurs at the very start of the backrooms teleportation, where Pennatoh continues to stay on Kojol's trail, and most of his story arises from finding Kojol. His story is split into 2 parts: The chase for Kojol, and Metastability (split into 2 parts: Kojol disappears and Purgatory, focused on a mirrored alt version of Pennatoh). Pennatoh loses Kojol (for a while) by A Fissure in Overture and dies, ending up in purgatory. By the end of Metastability, the metasphere of the backrooms breaks, ultimately coalescing into the merging of the conscious and unconscious planes.

The Fourth Branch to the Uranium Timeline also occurs in Fate Oasis's, where Hachiko dies and travels through a portal in the spirit realm to the Paradoxum Agency. She got there when a new program began, and she was chosen as 1 of the few to participate. Her story is split into 4 main parts: Fall of the Golden Age, Lord Exo's Reign, Cosmic Threading, and Misaligned Dimensions Arc. The first half of the story's main antagonist is Lord Exo, and the second half is the Overlord. By the Cosmic threading, the story goes out of the prime planet on which the story was set on and moves onto cosmic threats. The story mostly focuses on ties with the people one loves and lives for as well as the brutal reality of war and bliss. By the end of the Story, her realm gets destroyed, and she and a few other are scattered across the prime universe. She manages to keep all her abilities from the other universes physical laws.

The Tournament

The Fifth Branch to the Uranium Timeline occurs at the end of Fate Oasis's, where Nyxilara dies and travels through a portal in the spirit realm to a lobby with over 150 different people. After the lobby reached 200 'players,' the tournament officially started (based on Speedsilver's tournament videos). Her story is split into 3 major parts and 1 final part: Quest for the Artemis Bow, Tournament Expansion, Purging Arcs, and the Ocean Fast-forward Prelude. Nyxilara, throughout the tournament, shows her resilience, friendships, and untapped powers, but ultimately loses in the last 50 players. However, she manages to be transported out through the black plasma before the tournament is sucked into the god games.

The Sixth Branch to the Uranium Timeline occurs right before Apeirophobia, where Miodec dies and travels through a portal in the spirit realm to RGD, Randomly generated droids, an outcome of lost AI and machines. It's split into 4 parts, 2 from RGD, and 2 from 400,000 years later, called Hours: Journey to Ascension 20, Ascension 20, Resident Mind Arc, and the Endless Arena Arc. In Randomly Generated Droids, Miodec is chosen to fast-forward into time in order to destroy a timeloop. Innately, the universe incorporates classes that change the appearance of Miodec. It's even more amped up in Hours when time itself was controllable. The story is deeply rooted in randomness and chance, as well as ties from the past and towards the future. By the End of Hours, he broke the timeloop, then was chased down by the TVA (time variant Authority), sent back in time, lost his memories, and was sent to the wrong universe (Blackhole Time).

The Civil War comes to an end, the gods are gone, the droids rule the planet, but what is a droid to a runner? What is the spirit of a runner who has lost everything, and forsees the future as a dystopia, ruined with the hosts of inhumane gods and the graves of everyone's lifeline.

The Seventh Branch to the Uranium Timeline occurs at the end of Apeirophobia, where Avokus dies and travels through a portal in the spirit realm to purgatory, the same one Pennatoh is in. His story is split into 3 parts: Madness Fragments, Metastability, and the Solar Warden Arc. Avokus finds Pennatoh and helps end the metastability arc through Quasar Termination, and then his knights' journey towards the top of purgatory began. In Category Zeta, Avokus is struck by a golden Symbiote, giving him life energy, a pure contrast with his null powers. By the end of Solar Warden, Avokus escapes purgatory, where he is sent to the knights' whitelist and is given a Crusera Destiny alongside a few others.

MAIN CHARACTERS:

- Avokus

- Pennatoh

- Metastability (Alternate Pennatoh)

- Virgo (Caretaker of the Holy Garden)

The Eight Branch to the Uranium Timeline occurs during the Grimlord Chase, where Akyiri dies and travels through a portal in the spirit realm to an Infinite Prison. Her story is split into 2 parts: the Layers of the Prison and the Kights Calling. Her goal is to descend the prison and escape to get back to the original group. However, destiny calls for her a different plan by charging her with memories of a lost knight. By the End of the story, she enters a glowing white portal, entering the Knights Whitelist.

MAIN CHARACTERS:

- Akyiri

- Aegius

- Celeste (Prisoner)

- Yonice (Prisoner)

- Elshyn (Prisoner)

The Infinite Prison is a multi-dimensional masterclass that locks up the most dangerous of people, except they lock up even the most innocent of people instead. This prison is a blur; the farther the scope, the more reality distorts, until it's all just memories of old captives and lost timelines.

The Ninth Branch to the Uranium Timeline also occurs during the Grimlord Chase, where Cofron/Pochacco dies and travels through a portal in the spirit realm to one of the 16 parallel realms of the prime realm. Her story is split into 3 parts: Emerging Terror, Timelines, and the Scattered Faith Arc. Her story is canonically situated during the end of the Reconstruction era and throughout the Dark Order World, and also a main focus. She is responsible for finally ending the revenge from a Guardian on the Prime Realm. At the end, there is a timeskip from Revolving Destinies to Empowering as she tries to free Aetrnalis from her trap in the previous part, and she then re-enters the prime realm. During Writer Within Worlds, 3 separate alternate universes occur (like Ocarina of Time), and each timeline has an effect on the prime universe. They converge during RD.

The first part is the majority, where the world continues to rain and flood, making her have to ascend the city world, coming across the mafia, the elites, and more. And the Descent, where she has to return to sender. In the end an illusion made her fall into the wrong portal, into the BRICKBATTLER.

- Phexonia (Casino's floodgate dealer)

- Lyner (Mafia Leader)

Avokus, Pochacco, and Ruinex went in pursuit after him, traveling across dimensions in order to confront him and take back the cores. The story is split into 2 parts: The Chase and The Maze. These 3 must face the void, the dark dimension, where the Grimlord once resided. And a god awaits them. Avokus is the only survivor.

BRICKBATTLER:

Brickbattlers is a convergent plot point that occurred as a result of the strike of destiny. It brings heroes towards a new universe, where something lost from the prime universe is stranded and unable to return home. Neutrilon, Rakkuun, Cyrilix, Desecter, and Metalek are all sucked into this new world, however each and every one of them has completely lost their original memories to serve a new purpose in the universe. Neutrilon and Rakkuun converge from the backroom while Cyrilix and Desecter enter a portal when they see both of them. They are each sent back decades, and their minds inhabit a new body.

The story is split into 3 missions/parts: The Greatest Strategy, Plastic Men with Iron Blades, and Powering Imagination. The Greatest Strategy incorporates the most important part, the Unstable Prologue: it's about the Owner, who has to save his friend, who has fallen ill. His goal is to acquire every periastron scattered in time, but the cost of acquiring them is the destruction of most of the universe. It also reveals the backstory of Neutrilon and Rakkuun, who are now Swagman and Dopegirl respectively, and also their current mission to stop the Owner. At the end of the Unstable Prologue, Swagman/Neutrilon enters and defeats Shotgunman, the defender of the Chronoport. He then steps in to retrieve the periastrons himself. Along the way, he goes through many historical events, wars, and landmarks.

By the end, Neutrilon sacrifices himself, however he actually gets transported out before the realm collapses, while Cyrilix (Coolman) and Rakkuun fled with the Attractor and escape onto a broken Spherus Magna. Desecter (Guest 1337) is sent back to Novum Magna. And Metalek (Are14) is sent to the backrooms purgatory after dying, which reveals that the universe has not been destroyed but actually split in 2, foreshadowed by Ready Player

The Story takes place in the Realmscapes universe, specifically the first half: the Chronoport series.
